Nutrition
Malnutrition is an endemic problem among Peru's poorest children. It affects every aspect of their lives, from physical development to mental health issues. In an effort to combat this, PeruKidz is opening a feeding center in partnership with a local church, Palabra Viva (Living Word). For $1 per day per child, you can help us provide a nutritious meal throughout the week. That $20 a month will pay huge dividends in every aspect of your sponsored child's life. Beds
Many of us don’t give a second thought to where we will sleep tonight. Yet the children of Peru often find themselves sleeping on the floor, or crammed into small, broken, and outdated beds. Proper sleep is essential to the well being of a child, and we are on a mission to make sure every child has adequate bedding. For just $200, you can purchase a bed frame, mattress, pillows, and all the linens needed to make up the bed.
Christmas
Our signature event is PeruKidz Christmas where a $10 donation provides a meal, a Christmas gift, and a home made Christmas card. We believe every child deserves a Christmas gift that they can be proud of. There is nothing greater than putting a smile on the face of a child who has received a gift that means the world to them.
